Warner’s love for India is not a new one, it was evident even when he landed India for the 3-match ODI series

David Warner consistently displays his deep affection and enthusiasm for India and its passionate fans. On 19th September he landed in India with his beloved team for the 3-match ODI series against India.

The moment he arrived at the Delhi airport he shared a beautiful image that again melted the hearts of his Indian fans. He took to Instagram and posted a selfie with a security guard writing a heartwarming caption. He wrote as we quote,

“Always great to be welcomed back to india. We are always well looked after and well protected. Thanks so much. @gmraerocity always makes our transits so easy. #india #love”

A plethora of his Indian fans took to the comment section to compliment the picture. Even the security guard named Laxman Upadhyay took to the comment section as he wrote,

X user asked David Warner what he loves most about India and his reply is winning hearts

On 30th September 2023, an X (formerly known as Twitter) user took to the platform and asked David Warner an interesting question. The user with the username @khushi635290341 tagged the 36-year-old Australian star and wrote as we quote,

“@davidwarner31 While you are replying for everyone I want to ask you , WHAT YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT INDIA #Warner #india #CWC23”

Without taking much time David replied to the question. He wrote as we quote,

“people, food and hospitality is always amazing.”

Australia vs. India, WC edition

In the 3-match ODI that went on from 22nd September to 27th September India was successful in defeating Australia with a 2-1. In the first ODI India won by 5 wickets and in the second ODI India again won by 99 runs (2nd innings was reduced to 33 overs due to rain). However, in the third ODI Australia emerged victorious as it defeated India by 66 runs. With this India won the series.

Now, they are to have a face-off again on 8th October 2023 at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium for the much-awaited World Cup. Are you excited? Because we sure are!
