Arjun Tendulkar Was Spotted With This Woman Cricketer During ‘Lunch Date’, Pictures Went Viral

Arjun Tendulkar, the son of the Indian cricket sensation Sachin Tendulkar, is making headlines following his inclusion in Mumbai Indians in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Recently, he took his debut wicket at the IPL during the last over of the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Wishes poured in from different quarters for Arjun, cricket lovers are definitely elated to see another Tendulkar on the field.

Reportedly, Arjun featured in the Instagram story of a female cricketer

Besides his IPL debut and on-field performance, the left-hand pacer is also hitting the news for his apparent ‘lunch date’ with a woman cricketer and the pictures of the duo have taken the internet by storm.

Last year in June 2022, Danielle Wyatt, shared an Instagram story that features the Mumbai Indians newest addition Arjun Tendulkar. In the photo which has gone viral on social media, Arjun can be seen enjoying lunch at Soho, London.

Danielle Wyatt is a prominent part of the England women’s cricket team who shares a close friendship with Arjun and has often been spotted with the 22-year-old. Moreover, some reports also claim that Arjun and Danielle have known each other since childhood.

This is not the first time that the two have been spotted together. Wyatt, who has played 93 ODIs and 124 T20Is for England has previously also shared pictures with Arjun, who used to train at the MCC Cricket Academy of the iconic Lord’s cricket stadium located in London. Wyatt and Arjun’s friendship dates back to around 2007, in the nets, she had bowled to Arjun when he was only 10 years old.

The England cricketer reminisced about when she first met Arjun

Wyatt has already stated earlier,

“So, I first met Sachin and Arjun at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Maybe 2009 or 2010 when I was with MCC young cricketers and they were training in the nets. Literally I went to the nets and said hello and introduced myself saying I am Danni etc. Arjun would have been 10 years old back then, he was so small. There is a photo somewhere on Google. I bowled to him that day, he was very good. Since then whenever I bump into Sachin or Arjun or whenever they come to Lord’s to train, I go to the nets and ask him (Arjun) to bowl the new ball to me”

Wyatt is impressed with Arjun’s improvement

Praising Arjun’s skills, the England player said that Arjun has efficiently managed to increase his pace by a fair margin in recent times. Wyatt said the youngster has the ability to knock a batsman’s head off, so she doesn’t like him bowling to her anymore.

She stated,

“But he is getting very quick now. He always says I will bounce you and knock your head off so I don’t like him bowling to me anymore. He is getting too dangerous to face (Laughs). They are a lovely family. Arjun’s mom is also lovely. Recently, I bumped into Sachin in Australia during the World Cup. It is nice to see them whenever I see them”

She has congratulated Arjun on his IPL debut too.
