Placing orders for groceries and food items online has increased lately. With our busy lives, ordering online is no doubt a convenient option to fulfill our basic needs. However, with the luxury of saving time, online buyers are often subjected to increasing issues regarding delivery and quality of the ordered items.
Sometimes there are issues regarding misplaced items, wrong deliveries, late deliveries, spoilt or expired products, and many more. One such recent incident raised concerns about the safety of the food service.

Ordering dairy products online comes with some risks. Dairy products need to be preserved at specific temperatures to remain safe and fresh, the delivery should be done keeping that in mind. Delays in shipping can cause spoilage or increase the risk of delivering a spoilt product.
Sometimes due to a lack of proper packaging and improper handling by the delivery personnel, the food item gets contaminated or spoiled. When ordering online, it gets difficult to verify the quality and freshness of the food items.
Recently, worms were found in Amul’s high-protein buttermilk ordered online
Nowadays, there have been several incidents where the products delivered online have been found infested. In one such incident, there were worms found inside one of the Amul dairy products.
A video shared by the customer displays the dairy product received infested with worms. He shared his ordeal on the social media platform, X and expressed his disappointment.
