Customer Finds Worms In Amul High Protein Buttermilk

Ordering dairy products online comes with some risks. Dairy products need to be preserved at specific temperatures to remain safe and fresh, the delivery should be done keeping that in mind. Delays in shipping can cause spoilage or increase the risk of delivering a spoilt product.

Sometimes due to a lack of proper packaging and improper handling by the delivery personnel, the food item gets contaminated or spoiled. When ordering online, it gets difficult to verify the quality and freshness of the food items.

Recently, worms were found in Amul’s high-protein buttermilk ordered online

Nowadays, there have been several incidents where the products delivered online have been found infested. In one such incident, there were worms found inside one of the Amul dairy products.

A video shared by the customer displays the dairy product received infested with worms. He shared his ordeal on the social media platform, X and expressed his disappointment.

A customer named Gajender Yadav with the username, “@imYadav31” shared a series of posts that included a video and photos of Amul’s high protein buttermilk carton full of white worms.

He shared that he got Amul’s high-protein buttermilk delivered after 10 to 12 days after ordering online. He claimed that there were a few open boxes of the buttermilk and they had a foul smell. Taking to X, the user wrote,

“Stop Buying products from @Amul_Coop website. Hey Amul you have sent us WORMS along with your high protien buttermilk. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction after discovering worms in the buttermilk I purchased recently”

Mr. Yadav also added that his disappointing experience made him question the quality of the products, he wrote,

It has not only ruined my experience but also made me question the integrity of your production and packaging processes

I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter so that other customers can be saved from this.

After the Twitter thread went viral, the incident got noticed by Amul and they responded to it

Gajendra also shared a series of updates on the responses he received from the Dairy Company

Mr. Yadav mentioned in an update that Amul Kanpur offered a replacement and promised a refund to resolve the issue. However, the customer declined the offer and was asked to dispose of the infested boxes.
