Couple Kissing Bengaluru Metro

Several incidents from the Delhi metro are often reported as inappropriate. Pictures and videos of such moments go viral on social media making headlines. But this time a video from Bangalore Metro is doing the rounds and garnering attention. It has been reported that several passengers on the train had to witness a young couple kissing each other on public transport.

A video from Bengaluru Metro surfaced on the internet where a young couple has been accused of kissing inside the train

The individual who recorded the video claimed that the couple was kissing each other amidst hundreds of passengers. The X user also asked Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) to take action against them.

The person compared the scenes in the Delhi metro, and in an X post wrote,

“Hey @OfficialBMRCL @NammaMetro_ @BlrCityPolice. What is happening in Namma metro? Slowly Bangalore metro is turning into Delhi metro. Take some action on them. The girl was literally kissing the boy.”

Earlier, when similar incidents were reported in the Delhi metro, the metro authorities warned of dire consequences if anybody found themselves involved in intimate activities inside the metro coaches.

Earlier, in a statement, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said,

“We are striving to raise awareness through social media, and we have repeatedly appealed to passengers. Such acts should be reported immediately if co-passengers notice them.”

Bengaluru police responded to the viral video and responded to the complaint

Bengaluru Police took to social media platform X and wrote,

“Noted, please provide your contact number via DM”

Meanwhile, the viral clip is receiving mixed reactions from netizens. Though it could not be verified when and where the video was shot, several users on social media also demanded action against the couple and called for the need to maintain decorum and respect for public spaces. Some users also bashed the person who shot the video as he recorded it without the couple’s consent which is also punishable by law.

In the video, we couldn’t spot anything obscene as the kissing part claimed by the recorder is not clear in the video. In the video, the young couple can be spotted hugging each other. We strongly believe that the person who posted the video shouldn’t have shot the video without their consent.
