The much-anticipated event will bring together prominent figures from Bollywood, cricket, and politics for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. While excitement builds around the guest list, it’s noteworthy to discuss not only those invited but also those who generously donated to the temple’s construction. Some of those generous donators are also the ones who have still not received an invitation.

1. Akshay Kumar
On January 17, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar shared that he made an undisclosed donation for the construction of the Ram Mandir. Expressing his joy about the initiation of the temple’s construction in Ayodhya, he urged others to contribute, saying,
“I have started, hope you will also join us. Jai Siyaram.”
The Bollywood Khiladi has received an invitation for the inauguration of Ram Mandir and is most certainly going to attend the Pran Pratishtha.
2. Anupam Kher
Bollywood actor Anupam Kher recently donated bricks for the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Sharing a glimpse of the historic temple in the making, he expressed his joy at witnessing the devoted efforts of people contributing to the construction of Ram Lalla’s temple. Kher feels fortunate to have received a brick as a gift upon his request and expressed gratitude for being part of this significant endeavor. Kher said,
“#JayshShriRam echoes all over Ayodhya atmosphere! I’m lucky to have a brick in this temple as a gift upon my request! I am grateful!”
Anupam Kher has also received an invitation.
3. Hema Malini
The Bollywood Dream Girl has not just given a generous undisclosed donation but has also actively supported the campaign for building the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Furthermore, Hema Malini, a skilled classical dancer, will showcase a special performance on the Ramayana during the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22.

4. Gurmeet Choudhary
TV actor Gurmeet Choudhary has not only contributed a significant amount from his earnings but has also been encouraging fans to donate whatever they can for the construction of the Ram temple. On Twitter, he expressed his support for the fundraising efforts, emphasizing the collective enthusiasm across the country for this auspicious cause. However, he has not received any invitation so far.
5. Pranitha Subhash
Actress Pranitha Subhash, recognized for her roles in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi (Bhuj: The Pride of India and Hungama 2), and Malayalam films, contributed Rs 1 lakh to the nationwide campaign led by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. Announcing her donation on social media, she wrote,
“I’m making a humble initial pledge of Rs 1 lakh for the Ayodhya Ram Mandir nidhi samarpana abhiyaana. Requesting all of you to come join hands and be a part of this historic movement.”
However, she also has not received an invitation for Pran Pratishtha.

6. Gautam Gambhir
Former cricketer and BJP MP Gautam Gambhir made a significant contribution of Rs 1 crore for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. In a statement, he expressed that the realization of a glorious Ram temple fulfills the dream of all Indians, bringing unity and tranquility. He took to X and shared how his dad was honoured to receive an invitation for Pran Pratishtha.
7. Mukesh Khanna
Mukesh Khanna, known for his role in Shaktimaan, donated Rs 1.11 lakhs for the construction of the Ram Temple. Sharing the news on his Twitter (X) handle, a tweet mentioned that Khanna handed over the cheque to the local MLA, Atul Bhatkhalkar, as part of the campaign to collect funds for the Ram Mandir construction. However, there is no update about him receiving an invitation for the inaugural ceremony.
8. Manish Mundra
Indian film producer Manish Mundra, known for backing Bollywood movies like Ankhon Dekhi, Masaan, and Kadvi Hawa, contributed Rs 1 crore to the construction of the Ram Temple. Reports suggest that even he has not received any invitation for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, so far.
9. Manoj Joshi
Bollywood actor Manoj Joshi, renowned for his comic roles in movies such as Hulchul, Dhoom, Bhagam Bhag, Chup Chup Ke, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa, has contributed to the construction of Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir. While the exact amount of contribution he made remains unknown so does the update about his invitation.
10. Pawan Kalyan
According to reports, South Indian film star Pawan Kalyan, who is among the invited celebrities for the Ram Mandir inauguration, has made a significant contribution of over Rs 30 lakh towards the construction of the temple in Ayodhya. He has most certainly received an invitation.

While some actors openly shared their contributions to the construction of the Ram Mandir, it’s likely that many others have silently donated funds. Appreciating these acts of kindness, whether expressed openly or done discreetly, is a must.
