Flying through airplanes has become one of the most popular modes of transportation in the world. They can provide a fast, safe, and convenient way to get from one place to another.

However, poor management at airports can result in various problems, including safety risks, lost luggage, and flight delays. Regrettably, these problems have multiplied in recent years, leading to frustration and inconvenience for passengers.

The careless handling of luggage is one of the biggest areas of poor management at airports. Many travelers have encountered the situation when they discover that their luggage has been delayed or is missing. This might be especially annoying for passengers carrying vital belongings or in a rush.

However, luggage is nothing. Sometimes, due to the negligence of the airplane’s staff, people even lost some of their most valuable things. In a most recent incident, a passenger lost her pet kitten at Delhi Airport due to Air India’s negligence.

How did a passenger lose a kitten at Delhi airport?

Air India has come under fire after one passenger accused the airline of mismanagement. It is because her pet cat went missing at Delhi airport.

The traveler, Jangneichong Karong, was taking her two kittens on a journey from Delhi to Imphal. However, upon reaching the airport, the check-in desk informed her that she can’t take animals with her to her cabin. For carrying animals, she would need to reschedule the ticket or upgrade to business class.

However, she soon realized that neither of her preferred choices was possible. So, she consented to allow the personnel to transport the kittens by cargo. While reaching the destination, the staff informed her that one of the kittens had gone missing from the cage.

A passenger alleges negligence on the part of Air India

The passenger wrote a letter to Air India in which she accused the airline’s crew of incompetence and laid the responsibility for the kitten’s loss on them. She stated that she was nearly compelled to fly with just one cat and that her appeals for CCTV video were ignored.

The passenger’s friend posted about the event on social media, tagging Ratan Tata and urging the airline to accept responsibility for its conduct and set things right now. Taking to Twitter, her friend Sony S. Somar wrote,

My friend’s pet is missing due to negligence by @airindiain staff. This is a heart-wrenching tragedy and your negligence is inexcusable. You must take responsibility for your actions and make things right immediately. @RNTata2000 A few screenshots explaining what happened.

He further said that a staff member had behaved impolitely and that the relevant authorities had done nothing

He wrote,

Moreover, last time she spoke to the duty manager (Indrajeet), he was mean to her, asked her not to call back and disconnected the call on her.

Karong commented on the post and said that Air India had expressed regret for what happened over a call

She commented,

I got a call to extend their apologies, but it’s not the apologies that I need now, but my kitten to be reunited with her brother. Makes me question how actively they are searching. Do u have cctv at all @airindia A kitten not train med to fast will not stay hungry for 3 days

The matter becomes a trending topic of discussion on social media platforms, with people tagging Ratan Tata, Peta, and others.
