After impressing one and all with her exemplary work in the first part of Ponniyin Selva, Aishwarya has once again lived upto the expectations of her fans in the recently-released second part of the historical drama.

Recently, Abhishek Bachchan also watched the movie with Aishwarya and the whole star cast in theatres. He later took to his Twitter and penned a special message for the team. He also didn’t hold back on praising Aishwarya’s beauty and acting in the film while calling it ‘the best by her so far.’

Expressing his happiness and love, Abhishek wrote:

Abhishek gave it back to a Twitter troll
The tweet went viral in no time and was flooded with reactions from the fans. While many fans agreed with Abhishek and praised Aishwarya’s work in the movie, however, a Twitter user asked Abhishek to ‘let’ his wife sign more movies and take care of their daughter Aaradhya himself. The Twitter user wrote:

Abhishek was quick to notice the Tweet and come up with a savage reply to the troll. In his reply, the actor made it clear that Aish needs no one’s permission to do something that she loves. He wrote:

Talking about the movie Ponniyin Selvan 2, it got a theatrical release on 28 April. The film franchise has been a long-standing dream for director Mani Ratnam, who had earlier tried to make this movie in the late 80s. The movie sees the return of the entire ensemble star cast including Aishwarya Rai, Chiytaan Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, and Sobhita Dhulipala among others.
The movie has been receiving massive responses from audiences and is leaving a mark at the box office as well. The movie reportedly earned nearly Rs 33-35 crores across languages on the first day.
