Even after seventy years of independence, the racist attitude to judge people on their cast, creed and colour is still clinging to our minds. It is not like that India has not progressed in thought process but still there are some elements in the society who feel proud in advocating the racist attitude and don’t stop making fun of people. But this kind of thinking still present in the society is kind of shame for we Indians. Why we fail to remember that there is lot more beyond the skin colour of a person. What actually matters is the skills, thinking, behaviour and the conduct of the person.

We keep looking for stories that can make people laugh. And, we understand humour. But, there is a very thin line between humour and insult, which shouldn’t be crossed.

The social media at times can turn out to be really harsh and rude on people. Its excessive use is making us insensitive and rendering us devoid of emotions in the long run. Now the current scenario is that we are not running social media, rather social media is running our lives.

Few days back, a picture of a couple was doing rounds on social media and people were openly trolling the guy for his skin colour

From Facebook to Twitter, the troll brigade was seen insulting the guy in the picture without actually knowing his reality.

It is very important to note that we don’t judge a person on the basis of his caste, colour or religion. A person should be judged only on the basis of the good/bad work he/she has done.
