Ashneer Grover’s Wife Madhuri Reveals “Hum Saath Mai Nahate The” During Their Initial Days In Mumbai

Shark Tank India Season 1 judge Ashneer Grover has been in the limelight post his stint in the business reality show. The former co-founder and managing director of Bharat Pe grabbed everyone’s attention because of his angry attitude. His one-liners especially “Ye sab doglapan hai” became a huge hit among the fans.

His fans missed his bold thoughts and unfiltered attitude in the season 2 of the Shark Tank. Apart from his professional life, he has had his own share of ups and downs in his personal life as well.

Talking about his personal life, Ashneer is a loving husband to his darling wifey and a proud father of 2. He is happily married to Madhuri Jain and together they are proud parents of a son named Avy and a daughter named Mannat. The couple, who met each other for the first time while taking coaching lessons in Delhi, have completed 17 years of togetherness.

Ashneer and Madhuri recalled their struggling days

Recently, the power-couple appeared on the chat show hosted by Bollywood actress Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol named ‘Couple of Things’, where they spilled beans on their love story and how they struggled when they lived in a 1bhk apartment in Mumbai.

The couple also visited their old home with Amrita and Anmol and made some big revelations. Ashneer’s wife Madhuri revealed how Ashneer brought vegetables while coming home and how they adjusted in the small home.

Showing around the 1bhk, that they once called their home, Madhuri Jain revealed:

“We didn’t have a table. We used to sit on the floor and eat. We used to buy one piece of furniture a month with our salaries.”

Madhuri revealed how Ashneer once won a Rs 12 lakh bike in an office lucky draw, but she asked him about the other prizes. She recalled:

“Ashneer said there is LCD TV. I told him to get the TV because I wouldn’t have let him ride that bike.”

Further, Ashneer tried to recall some special moments about their old home, Ashneer reveals. He said:

“Kuch special nahi tha. There was just one bathroom.”

However, Madhuri then dropped a truth bomb and revealed:

“Hum dono saath mein nahate the. There was just one bathroom and office jaane ka time bhi hota tha. Ashneer’s sister Asheema was also visiting us back then and she was shocked as we disappeared together.”

Madhuri talks about their complicated first pregnancy

The couple also revealed that they had a complicated first pregnancy and the doctor had advised them to terminate the child because of the same. Madhuri shared:

“Ashneer and I were ready to have a baby. And when you are ready to have a baby and the doctor advised us to terminate the baby, it was depressing. You don’t have the will but there is no option and you have to do it.”

While Ashneer looks like an angry-young man, he is very emotional. Yes, when Anmol asked Madhuri if Ashneer cries, Maduri revealed:

“He cries. He cries a lot. Meri shaadi ki vidaai mei Ashneer roya tha. Mei toh royi thi but Ashneer roya tha. Ashneer apne behen ki shaadi mei bhi bohot roya tha. But meri shaadi mei Ashneer muje roo roo ke chup kara rha tha.”
