Nowadays, Bollywood celebrities are quite active on social media and voice their opinions on various issues. One such person is Anurag Kashyap, who never shies away from expressing his bold views and taking on trolls. Recently, we got to witness one such instance when he took on a troll, who doubted him of something illegal and tagged Mumbai Police.

Recently, Anurag did live a live session for a YouTube channel named Our Stupid Reactions. One user trimmed 11 seconds’ clip from the interview and posted it on Twitter. In the video, one can see the filmmaker rolling a paper. He tagged both Anurag and the official handle of Mumbai Police and urged for taking an action against Anurag’s act as he doubted him of drolling a joint on air. For those who don’t know, a joint usually consists of marijuana, the use of which is illegal in India.
The Twitter user asked the Mumbai police to investigate the matter if Kashyap was using joint in the video. The user wrote on Twitter,

The accusation by the user did not go down well with Anurag Kashyap and he responded to him. Anurag said he is open for a probe and also cleared that he was not rolling joint was rolling tobacco instead, which is legal. Mentioning Mumbai police on Twitter Anurag wrote,

Many netizens then started wondering how the filmmaker had managed to get tobacco in these days of lockdown, when the commodity was not being sold openly.
