YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani recently created Sasta Shark Tank, a spoof of Shark Tank India in which he portrayed Ashneer Grover and Kunal Chabria portrayed Anupam Mittal as Uttapam Misal in the video.

Kunal described himself as “India’s No. 1 simp,” a “four-time divorcee” with “serial killer looks.” Anupam was also identified as the proprietor of “divorce.com” in the video.

Anupam had posted a picture of his mother-in-law on his Instagram account. A fan said in the post’s comments section that the Ashish Chanchlani parody was offensive.

One fan wrote,

“Sir, don’t you think the way Ashish has portrayed you in his Sasta Shark Tank is very wrong! Like is it okay to do character assassination of someone in the name of comedy? I really don’t know what’s your take on this but I felt very bad when I watched that video!”

Replying to one such comment, Anupam Mittal, Shark Tank India judge and founder and CEO of Shaadi.com, has responded,

“Ignore, use bhi apna ghar chalana hai. Anyway, besides me, nobody can assassinate my character. Woh privilege mein apne paas hi rakhta hoon.”

It loosely means that it’s fine if someone is making money on his name. He further stated that no one can character assassinate him.
