Like the previous episodes, in the latest episode of the show, Sharks Anupam Mittal and Aman Gupta got into a heated argument during a pitch

Anupam Mittal was seen losing his cool and involve in a verbal spat with fellow judge Aman Gupta for bragging about himself.

The episode started with the pitching of a skincare brand by founders Sayyam and Sunny Jain. The brand was all about a blend of ayurveda with science. The contestants asked for Rs 60 lakh for 2% equity.

In the beginning, Aman enquired about their background like how they met and what led to the commencement of their business. Namita Thapar refused to offer them a deal after a thorough conversation about the product and themselves. She gave the explanation that as she was a solo investor in a skincare brand that came to the show last season, she is not willing to invest this time. She mentioned that can result in a conflict of interest.

Amit Jain on the other hand felt that the pitchers failed to explain and clarify important details and he was unable to understand the product. Peyush Bansal offered a deal of Rs 60 lakh for 10% equity.

Anupam added that he will partner with Peyush and both of them will give Rs 30 lakh each. Just at that moment, Aman Gupta offered a counter-offer and promised the founders that he will help them grow their business on Amazon and Flipkart.

Aman said,

“Amazon aur Flipkart ka raja toh main hun (I am the king of Flipkart and Amazon).”

Aman’s step and the offer didn’t sit well with Anupam. He immediately responded, and said,

“Ye Amazon ka raja waja chodo. This is like boasting about yourself (You don’t have to say things like this). If you want a technology like Cureskin, I can help you because I’ve understood it very well and our business is related to technology.”

While Anupam was trying to convince the founders Sayyam and Sunny, he was interrupted by Aman. He took a dig at Anupam, and said,

“Many of the businesses must have shut down which they are working on.”

The heated discussion between Aman and Anupam didn’t end there.

Anupam added,

“He doesn’t know what he is talking about, you can think about the offer and come back, he is just replying as he wants to counter.” This left Aman irritated, and he said, “Haan bhai sahab ko he sab pata hai, hum toh nadan bande hain (yeah, only he knows everything, we are very naïve).”

The fight was getting uglier and Anupam and Aman gave angry glances at each other

Finally, Anupam ended the conversation by saying,

“Bakwaas karoge toh yahi realise hoga (If you will talk nonsense, you will realise this only)”.

After their clash of words, the pitchers talked with each other and changed their bid. They said they are ready to give 5% equity for Rs 1 crore. Aman came forward and offered them Rs 60 lakh for 4% equity and Peyush told them he is ready to offer the same. Ultimately, the pitchers went with Aman’s offer.
