During his visit to Delhi for the G20 summit, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was frequently seen alongside his wife, Akshata Murty, in various photographs. Yet Aman Gupta, the CEO and co-founder of BoAt, was drawn to a certain image of Sunak.

Aman Gupta posted a picture of Rishi Sunak speaking with Indian students on Instagram. Gupta found this picture particularly noteworthy because the UK Prime Minister was wearing BoAt headphones. Taking to Instagram, he wrote,

For those who are unaware, Rishi Sunak had previously posted pictures of his trip to the British Council on Instagram. One particular photo stood out because it showed him engaging with kids while wearing BoAt headphones.

As he arrived in India for the G20 summit, Rishi Sunak gushed about how happy he was to be back in the nation he adores, saying,

“It’s obviously special. I saw somewhere that I was referred to as India’s son-in-law, which I hope was meant affectionately.”

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled meeting with Sunak was postponed, the UK Prime Minister decided to go out to dinner with his wife in the capital instead. The Indian Express reported that Sunak and Murthy were seen making their way to the Imperial Hotel in preparation for their planned meal.

Apart from this, Sunak’s pictures of visiting the Akshardham Mandir and meeting various Indian and world leaders also went viral on social media for different reasons. Definitely, it was Rishi Sunak’s true son-in-law moment in India.
