1. Avoid unnecessary spamming

Don’t bulk message, auto-message, or spam anyone unnecessarily. It is one of the major things because of this your WhatsApp may get banned. Why? Because you can be easily filtered out as a spammer. As per reports, WhatsApp is said to use machine learning technology and reports from users to detect and ban accounts that send unwanted messages. Therefore, it is important to not spam.

2. Do not share messages from unreliable sources

WhatsApp is one such platform that is home to hearsay. Every now and then several unreliable messages are being circulated to it. Therefore, it is important to make sure that you are not the one sharing them. Always make sure to verify the source of the message including the message before forwarding it.

3. Never make an account in somebody else’s name

Impersonating someone else by using their name can without any doubt cost you your WhatsApp account. Hence, you should not try to create an account in someone else’s name or profile, otherwise will be banned.

4. Never use third-party apps

Third-party apps like WhatsApp Delta, GBWhatsApp, and WhatsApp Plus are all unofficial apps. Therefore, it goes without saying that they violate the terms and conditions set by WhatsApp. They validate WhatsApp’s security practices and there is no certainty of privacy and safety. Using them can cost your main WhatsApp account too.

5. Limit sending messages via Broadcast List

Messages sent using a broadcast list will only be received when users have added your phone number to their contact list. Therefore, constant use of it may lead to people reporting you. Furthermore, as is mentioned multiple reports can make WhatsApp ban your account.

6. Respect boundaries as you share messages

One should always respect boundaries as they share messages on WhatsApp. Nobody should cross the line. If you are caught sending messages which are illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, intimidating, harassing, hateful, racially, ethnically offensive, or otherwise inappropriate, including promoting violent crimes, then your account will be banned.

7. Ask for permission and respect privacy

Before adding any user to any group you should always contact them and ask for permission first. Never add users to groups that they don’t want to be in.  You might get reported by the other user and WhatsApp will later block your account if reported multiple times.
