Lately, overcrowding on trains has been a major issue and several passengers are complaining about the poor condition of Indian Railways. The train passages filled with ticketless passengers have created havoc on social media. Netizens have joined in the chaos and have started sharing their grievances too. Recently, a ticketless woman on a train refused to vacate a seat that she forcefully occupied. The troubling incident reached another level when she refused to vacate the seat.
In a viral video, a middle-aged lady was caught arguing with some men on the train refusing to let the man have his reserved seat
The adamant behaviour of the woman refusing to vacate a reserved seat that wasn’t hers created an uproar on social media as the video in which the incident was caught went viral. She could be seen engaging in a heated argument with some co-passengers who repeatedly asked her to leave the reserved seat.

The woman was caught talking in a very rude tone, at first she said,
Meri seat nahi hai (It is not my seat)
Then she added,
“Aap TTE (Traveling Ticket Examiner) ko bulaiyye. TTE aayega, tab baat karenge (Call the TTE. I will speak to him)”
She was constantly refusing to get up and leave the seat to the person it belonged to. The man who was recording the video asked her to vacate the seat and wait near it. She even claimed to be a Railways employee and said she felt “entitled” to the seat.
She maintained her rude demeanor and continued,

The X user Shonee Kapoor shared the video clip on the microblogging site on Friday. The user wrote,

Women feel that they are entitled to get everything free.
GOI should make everything free for everyone irrespective of gender, age, religion, status and etc..

This all can be addressed easily by imposing very steep fine if caught traveling without ticket or if you are traveling in a class where you don’t have the ticket.
Limit the waiting and unreserved tickets.@AshwiniVaishnaw sir this can be done even during elections. Else this…

Now a days all reserved compartments are freely occupied by illegal and ticketless travellers, at the cost of bonafide traveller. No TTE, or RPF or police may be at sight to handle the situation.. Only god can rescue the public.

I think Indian railways should be penalized by supreme court by not honoring service promised to their customers n putting them in dangerous situation of argument, fights. No other place where u spent money and no one is assuring for promised services

These rampant behaviors sure need a check and the Railways should work towards it. Feel free to share your opinions in the comments below.
