An avid fan of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) seized the opportunity and logged out early from work to watch the RCB vs Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) showdown. This recent incident shows the lengths to which some cricket lovers can go to catch their favorite teams in action.

The Bengaluru woman cited a ‘family emergency’ to her manager to leave office and watch the IPL match
Though she managed to reach the stadium by citing a false reason and cheered for her team RCB from the stands, she was spotted by her boss on live television. The woman claimed to have an urgent family matter demanding her absence from work. Her plan was exposed when her boss saw her during a match broadcast.

Taken aback by the revelation, the manager confronted the woman directly for fabricating a false excuse to enjoy the game at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
The Bengaluru woman, Neha Dwivedi shared the incident by posting a video on Instagram and also shared screenshots of her conversation with her boss after she got spotted on the television.
The boss asked if Dwivedi was an RCB fan and she answered ‘yes’. Then he said he saw her looking worried on the television. He also humorously discussed about her leaving work early and mentioned that it took him a second to recognize her on television. Her supervisor’s message read,

“I saw you only for a second and recognised you. So that was the reason for the early logout yesterday”
