A Pakistani girl received an indecent job offer from the manager.
A Pakistani girl named Adina Hira recently wrote on X (previously Twitter) about her unsettling experience looking for a job. It caused a lot of people to get upset online. During her first job search on Indeed, Hira got unwanted and provocative messages from people pretending to be employers who wanted to hire her as a personal assistant.
Adina Hira posted screenshots of her chat with the recruiter who wanted to hire her as a personal assistant on X. The recruiter said that there would be special/personal favors involved, nevertheless, after requesting a thorough work description.
The messages contained indecent requests to “cooperate with the manager” and “spend quality time with the boss.” It led Hira to express her frustration by stating, “Being a girl in Pakistan is too difficult!” Captioning her post, she wrote,
Being a girl in Pakistan is too difficult! I applied for a job on the Indeed website, which was for fresh graduates, and this is the message I received. It’s unbelievable!! Who knows how many innocent girls they must have taken advantage of.
Have a look at the tweet

As noticed by everyone, the recruiter was initially extremely cautious about discussing se*ual favors. After figuring out the recruiter’s intentions, Adina mistreated and blocked the recruiter.
Internet users supported the girl in the incident.
Within a while, the tweet became the talk of the town, with many people highlighting how prevalent it was. Many individuals denounced this behavior and urged her to expose the business on LinkedIn to raise awareness of these actions.
They clearly mentioned special tasks so better to ignore these kind of positions if you’re not interested, Its so sad to see most peoples prefer these kind of jobs because they don’t want to do anything else… Good to see you are speaking about this

When you have a Corrupt country This behavior takes place at higher rate. Even in the west it does happen but way lower and the consequences are extremely high unlike in Pakistan there are no consequences for corrupted people

Meanwhile, this is not a unique instance. Some businesses are hiring personal assistants with the intention of giving their bosses se#*ual favors. By placing recent graduates in precarious and immoral conditions, such exploitation preys on their desire for work.
