A prospective renter rejected her when she found out that Shah was in a serious relationship with her boyfriend. The renter explained that she preferred hookups and was looking for a flatmate who shared her views.

Shah took to social media X and shared a screenshot from a chat with the renter that went viral
Shivangi’s house-hunting experience turned wild when she was questioned if she had a date. As the conversation continued, it turned into something completely unexpected.
The exchange happened through a Facebook group called Flat and Flatmates (Gurgaon). The screenshots of it went viral after Shivangi Shah shared it on X Writing,
“House hunting in Gurgaon is wild”
The chat begins with the renter asking the woman if she has “a date”. Shah perceives the question in a different way thinking she was asking for a date to move in and confusingly answers,

“To move in? I can either shift in the last week of December or the first week of January”
The renter then clarified that she was enquiring about the woman’s relationship status, and if she had a boyfriend. The woman confirmed her relationship and even shared that the man was also based in Gurgaon. Shah replied,
“Yes, I do. He’s actually based out of Gurgaon”
The conversation turns odd when the renter asks,
“A serious one?”
When Shivangi confirms that her relationship is a serious one, the renter mentions that she prefers casual relationships and is looking for a flatmate who shares the same preference.
