The woman from Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, has been identified as Khushboo Pathak. In her original statement, she stated that throughout her 23-year marriage, she gave birth to 24 children. She stated that the children’s ages varied from two to 18 years old. Khushboo clarified that her “children” comprised twins as well as single births.
In one of her interviews, she claimed that 16 of her children were actually twins. She also claimed that after the COVID-19 lockdown, she stopped bearing children. In one of her other videos, she claimed that she will fight elections one day.

While many people believe in her story, others are still skeptical about it. Many people asked her to show the names of all children on the ration card. Others also made fun of her about how she marketed her motherhood on social media. Many also claimed that she is having multiple extramarital affairs.

After the story gained a lot of attention from social media users and YouTubers, News18 thoroughly investigated the claims and debunked the fake claims that were going viral on social media.
It was revealed that Pathak is a mother of two when they visited her home in the Ambedkar Nagar district’s Ramnagar block. The other 22 “children” she mentioned were, in fact, saplings she had planted, which she saw as her children in a symbolic sense.

Subsequent examination showed that Pathak’s ration card only listed two children, supporting the findings. Later on, in one of the viral videos, Khushboo also told the real story behind viral claims. She also asked for forgiveness for misleading people.
The instance emphasizes how quickly false information can proliferate on social media and how crucial it is to independently confirm any claims made before credibly embracing them.
