At the recent IIFA 2024 awards happening in Abu Dhabi, Vivek Oberoi take home a prize. After accepting the prize, he expressed gratitude to his loved ones. Vivek also complimented Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan. His comment left SRK blushing. However, what came next raised everyone’s eyebrows.
Despite not naming names, Vivek hinted that Salman never used his celebrity and influence to uplift others—rather, he used it to bring them down. Vivek said,

What happened between Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi?
It all began with a widely publicized romance between Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai. Their relationship eventually came to an unpleasant end. Not too long after, Vivek Oberoi comes in between this mess. By 2003, there were whispers going around regarding Vivek and Aishwarya’s closeness.

At the peak of these rumors, Oberoi called a press conference, drastically escalating the tensions between him and Salman. During this infamous PC, Vivek said that Salman bullied him with his enormous connections in Bollywood. He added that he threatened his life and harassed him with numerous calls.

Due to this, Vivek’s reputation suffered severely, and his career took a hit. Later, Vivek issued a formal apology. However, Salman remained unforgiving and they never reconciled.
