Virender Sehwag Trolls Orry During IPL 2024 Commentary In An Epic Way

Indian Premier League also known as IPL has marked its commencement. To say that cricket fanatics are more than happy would be a sheer understatement. As one of the most popular cricket tournaments globally, IPL draws millions of viewers and fans eagerly awaiting the action-packed matches between top cricketing talents.

Now, during the IPL 2024 commentary for the opening match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore on Friday, former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag humorously teased social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry.

The commencement of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is always eagerly awaited by cricket enthusiasts worldwide. On 22nd March 2024 the first IPL match took place between two renowned teams namely CSK and RCB.

This time the IPL 2024 commentary panel featured ssome well-known personalities which included cricketers like Virender Sehwag, Aakash Chopra, and Zaheer Khan, along with influencers Orry and comedian Munawar Faruqui. Amid the commentary Sehwag made a playful and witty banter that stole the show.

Virender Sehwag trolls Orry in his own style

When asked to demonstrate his favorite signature shot, Sehwag humorously said as we quote,

“Main maara toh inhe bahar hi bhejunga (If I hit, I will smack him out)”

He said so while pointing towards Orry, sparking laughter among the panel and viewers.

This humorous exchange is what the audience seeks that adds to the entertainment dynamics of the IPL, making it a memorable moment for cricket enthusiasts and fans alike.

Here is a little about Orhan Awatramani, better known as Orry

Popularly known as Bollywood’s go-to friend, Orry rose to prominence through viral images of him mingling with B’town stars at various parties. His LinkedIn profile reveals him as a special projects manager at Reliance Industries Limited.

Orry, a social media influencer, enjoys close ties with Bollywood celebrities, often attending events and posing for photos with actors and actresses. Recently, he was spotted among the guests at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar, Gujarat, adding to his list of high-profile appearances in the industry.

Apart from Orry, Munawar Faruqui was also a part of the commentary panel. He is a stand-up comedian known for his sharp wit and observational humor. He is populary known for winning the famous TV show Bigg Boss in 2023.

Chennai Super Kings marked their victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore

The opening match pf IPL 2024 between CSK and RCB was indeed a much-awaited match that took place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Chennai Super Kings began their title defense with a six-wicket victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL.

Shivam Dubey and Ravindra Jadeja’s unbeaten stand guided CSK to victory after a shaky start, securing a strong start to their campaign. CSK omfortably achieved the target of chasing 174 runs with 1.2 overs to spare.

It was again a sad experience for RCB fans to see the team losing its very first match. On the flip side, he RCB women’s team clinched their first-ever Women’s Premier League (WPL) title under the captaincy of Smriti Mandhana, triumphing over the Delhi Capitals (DC) in a thrilling final. Fans now hope for a similar success story from the men’s RCB team.
