In today’s digital era, online criticism is an increasing concern for everyone, whether you are a commoner or a celeb.
As people now have social media platforms, allowing them to share their ideas with a larger audience and express their opinions, this has also resulted in an upsurge in online abuse and harassment of famous people.

Celebrities frequently come under harsh scrutiny and criticism for both their personal and professional lives. Criticism of celebrities’ performing abilities is one of the most prevalent types of online bullying.
Individuals believe they are entitled to voice their thoughts on how well a celebrity performs in their films or television productions. Although constructive criticism can be beneficial, harsh or vicious remarks can negatively influence the intended person. Because of this, celebrities sometimes get themselves insulted by falling into an unnecessary online spat.
However, there are some celebrities who know how to handle trolls with humility without lowering their dignity. The most recent example of this is actress Tillotama Shome, who graciously replied to the netizen who criticized her part in The Night Manager.
