Actress Reveals She Went To Pay House Rent And Corporator Asked For Sexual Favours

Tejaswini, who is the daughter of actress Jyoti Chandekar, made her debut in 2004 in Kedar Shinde’s Aga Bai Arrecha! Some of her well-ensembled works are Mee Dindhutai Sapkal (2010), RaanBaazaar (2022), and Tu Hi Re (2015) among others. Interestingly, she is not just an actress but also a producer who launched her own production house Creative Vibe in partnership with her friend Santosh Kher.

This 36-year-old actress is currently busy promoting her new web series Athang. Furthermore, if we talk about the first film to which she will give a contribution as a producer then it is going to be Bamboo. It is written by Ambar Hadap and directed by Vishal Devrukhkar.

Recently, Marathi actress Tejaswini Pandit gathered all her courage to talk about a humiliating experience from her past. The tale goes back to the days when she was still a struggling actress who was trying to make ends meet.

Here is the embarrassing incident she faced years ago because of her house owner

Even if you are talking about a humiliating experience that happened years ago, it takes a lot of guts and bravery. The same bravery was shown by Marathi actress Tejaswini Pandit.

In an interview with Soumitra Pote, she shared how she used to live at a rental apartment in Pune years ago when she was struggling to come up the ranks. In that interview, she hinted how a corporator, who owned that Pune apartment made an offer to trade-off involving sexual favors.

Tejaswini revealed her decade-ago experience by saying,

“It was around 2009-10 and I used to stay in a rental apartment on Sinhagad Road (in Pune). At that time, only one or two movies of mine had been released. The apartment was owned by a corporator. When I reached his office to pay rent, he made a direct offer to me… There was a glass of water on the table, I picked it up and threw it on his face. I did not enter this profession to do such things, or else I would not have stayed in a rental apartment. I would have brought homes and cars and whatnot.”

She added,

“It was a combination of two things. They judged me because of my profession and because my financial position was weak. It was a learning experience for me”
