Tamannaah Bhatia is one of the most popular actresses who hail not just from the South but also the B-town. Having several blockbusters to her credit it is no shock after all. Currently, the actress is gearing up for the second installment of Lust Stories 2 which will make its release on June 29 this year.
For quite some time now the actress has been making a lot of headlines. For all the right reasons? Indeed for all the right reasons. She recently shared another mindboggling news telling why she broke her “no kissing rule” on the big screen.

Tamannaah Bhatia comes out of her comfort zone as she breaks her 18-year-old “no kiss rule”
The Baahubali starrer Tamannaah Bhatia has a career that spans over 18 years. All these 18 years she seldom indulged in any sort of intimate acts, on-screen. For her doing such roles was never in her comfort. However, it seems like the actress has come out of her comfort zone thanks to Lust Stories 2 and her newly introduced boyfriend, Vijay Varma.
Talking about Lust Stories 2 and her thoughts on the “on-screen kissing” the actress shared with the Film Companion as we quote,
“I really wanted to work with Sujoy and I’m really happy that he thought of me for this part especially because I have done literally no intimacy in my career or very little intimacy in my career.”
She further added,
I was that audience that would get awkward and I was that audience that “main ye kabhi nahi karungi” (I will never do this), “Main kabhi nahi kiss karungi on screen” (I will never kiss on-screen).
Tamannaah shared how things are evolving and how in her acting endeavor she did not want something that is holding her back in any way. She said as we quote,

“I was that person so for me it has been an evalution to kind of get out of that framework, which served a certain audience because India is huge and there are so many parts of India that still needs to evolve. There is a lot of evolution that has happened already, thanks to even internet and social media, everyone has information on their finger tips but I do feel like — because everyone’s consuming so much content — I felt like as an actor, I don’t want this to be something that is holding me back.”
“Not trying to be famous,” said Tamannaah Bhatia on her rule-break
Tamannah recently shared that she is dating her Lust Stories 2 co-star Vijay Varma. While breaking her rule for this show the actress shared how this was a creative endeavor and she did not do it in order to be famous. Well, it makes complete sense considering the actress is already a well-established personality. She said as we quote,
“This was a purely creative endeavour. Now, after 18 years, I am not trying to be famous. That’s not my driving force.”

On the flip side, Lust Stories 2, the directorial work by filmmakers R Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, Sujoy Ghosh, and Amit Sharma is soon to hit the screens. Apart from Tamannaah and Vijay, the show is also starring prominent personalities like Mrunal Thakur, Kajol, and Neena Gupta among others.
