Actor Akhil Mishra’s marriage with Suzanne Bernert was his second marriage
Akhil’s wife from his first marriage was a lady named Manju whom he married in 1983. He reportedly has two kids, one daughter and one son from his first marriage. However, in 1997, his wife Manju passed away.
Akhil Mishra fell in love with famous German actress, Suzanne Bernert after the death of his first wife. They had a court marriage on February 3, 2009, and later, on September 30, 2011, they got married for the second time in a traditional Indian wedding.

Suzanne is in a relationship with Delhi-based Arjun Hardas, who works with an NGO. Her husband’s sudden demise took a toll on Suzanne. The actress disclosed that she is slowly moving out of her grief and has found love again.

Suzanne disclosed her newfound love, in an interview with The Times of India, and also spoke on how she connected with Arjun after the death of her husband, Akhil. Suzanne said:
“After Akhil’s passing, I had stopped meeting people apart from work. I spent most of my time confined at home. However, I pushed myself to travel to Delhi to attend a friend’s housewarming party last December. While I was in Delhi, Arjun connected with me, and we met. Soon we became friends and gradually grew closer. Today, we are in sync with each other emotionally and it feels like we’ve known each other for a long time.”

She shared the multiple emotions she underwent and the difficulties of falling in love again. She also mentioned that Arjun understands her and doesn’t intend to replace her late husband Akhil. Suzanne stated:
“It’s intriguing to discover how multiple emotions can coexist. Arjun understands whatever I am today is because of Akhil. He acknowledges Akhil is a part of me and the intention isn’t to replace him. Akhil was my beloved one, and I want his memory as an amazing human being and actor to live on.”

Reportedly, Arjun is currently in Germany with Suzanne to meet her mother, as she underwent a complicated surgery recently. Speaking about Suzanne he said,
“We’ve just begun spending time together and getting to know each other. However, we are planning it to be a long-term relationship.”
On the work front, Suzanne was last seen in the daily soap, Pyar Ka Pehla Naam: Radha Mohan. She has been part of several TV shows and films too.
