Suryakumar Yadav troll food in dugout

The Indian cricket team has been doing immensely well in the World Cup 2023. To say that it has made every cricket fanatic the happiest would be a sheer understatement. While players like Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, and Hardik Pandya are able to showcase their brilliance in the middle order there is one person who is unable to do so. Yes, we are talking about none other than Suryakumar Yadav.

Suryakumar Yadav trolled for having food in the dugout during the India-Australia game

Suryakumar Yadav, the No. 1 T20I batter in the world is a star player. For all the right reasons? Indeed for all the right reasons. However, a person of his brilliance has to sit on the sidelines amid the ongoing World Cup. As saddening as it is for his fans, it is also a fact that he has taken an active role in team operations and is frequently seen participating as a substitute fielder.

A video of the star cricketer has gone viral where he is spotted having food in the dugout during the India-Australia game. This clip has become a huge source of entertainment and is loved by his fans. However, apart from his fans, there are also some who trolled the ace batsman for eating like that. The troller wrote as we quote,

“Sir dugout mein baithke kya khate rehto ho, ground par jaake do chaar 6 maarke aao”

Here have a look at it,

Without wasting much time Suryakumar gave a befitting reply to the troller

The troller made this comment with the sole purpose of roasting the Suryakumar Yadav. Why? Well because he has not been given the chance to play yet. However, this did not stop the 32-year-old batsman from giving a befitting reply.  Suryakumar Yadav wrote as we quote,

“Order mereko nahi Swiggy pe de bhai”

Twitter reacted to the incident in a hilarious way

Suryakumar Yadav has not been able to showcase the best performance in the ODI cricket

Suryakumar Yadav, recognized as the top-ranked T20I batsman globally, has been a dominant force in the T20I. No wonder he has registered three centuries in the past 15 months. However, this is also a fact that he has encountered difficulty replicating this success in One Day International (ODI) cricket. The batsman has amassed 667 runs in 30 innings with an average of 27.8.

He has been given a few chances to be a substitute fielder. But only time can tell if he will be given a chance to make it to the middle order. By securing a six-wicket victory over Australia, an eight-wicket triumph against Afghanistan, and a comprehensive seven-wicket win over arch-rivals Pakistan it is safe to say that the performance of the men in blue during the WC 2023 has been nothing less than successful. Let’s hope that we win the trophy!
