Sidharth Malhotra And Kiara Advani’s Adorable Love Story Cannot Be Missed

B-town witnessed another grand Indian wedding as the Shershaah couple, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, tied the knot on 7th February 2023 and we cannot keep calm. From denying dating rumours and keeping it all under wraps since the beginning to finally making it official, the fans were beyond happy and excited about their wedding. Kiara and Sidharth have neither confirmed nor denied the rumours about their relationship over several years. Reportedly, Kiara and Sidharth wedding festivities started in the first week of February from the 4th to the 7th.

They were seen working together on the war drama film, Shershaah, which was released on Prime Video in 2021. The venue was booked, wedding cards printed and the guests on the guest list of the wedding were really excited as the duo was ready to take their love story to the next level.

How did Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani meet?

Although in an episode of Koffee with Karan 7 Kiara revealed that she first met Sidharth during the wrap party of Lust Stories.

“We started talking at the wrap-up party of Lust Stories, which we crashed. We casually met. I’ll never forget that night.”

In the show, Kiara also confessed that she and Sidharth are definitely more than “close friends.”

Everything began on the sets of the critically acclaimed war drama film, Shershaah when Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani crossed paths with each other. Their adorable chemistry onscreen spread like wildfire among the fans.

The war drama got released on Amazon Prime Video in 2021 and the audience swooned over Sidharth and Kiara’s romance. Unknown to us, their love saga continued off the camera too and they actually did a great job in keeping their relationship away from the limelight.

Taking trips together

For those who don’t know, the whole buzz of dating rumours of Sidharth and Kiara sparked after they began shooting for Shershaah. While the couple never explicitly revealed that they were on a vacation together, in 2019 they did go on a vacation to South Africa to spend New Year’s together.

The fans were very quick to connect the dots and pulled up similar posts from the couple’s individual Instagram accounts that proved they had a gala time during their New Year’s getaway. They were also quite often seen partying together too. Sidharth and Kiara yet again were spotted in the Maldives for New Year’s getaway in 2021. Recently, they were also spotted in Dubai together in 2022, and the couple kind of made it official after they returned from Dubai.

A couple of frequent public appearances

After the release of Shershaah, Kiara and Sidharth made frequent public appearances together. In January 2021, the couple was spotted at the airport returning from their second New Year’s vacation in the Maldives.

Meeting each other parents

After dating for some time the duo decided to take their relationship to next level. They introduced their parents to each other. According to reports Kiara invited Sidharth and his parents to her for dinner. In the year 2021, Kiara was also seen meeting Sidharth’s parents when they had come to Mumbai.

A shocking breakup

Last year, there was a huge buzz about Sidharth and Kiara’s breakup rumours. However, the couple was soon seen together on a few occasions after that whole fiasco, including Karan Johar’s star-studded 50th birthday bash. According to reports the filmmaker is very close to the couple and was not at all happy with the news of their separation. Hence, he decided to sort it out between them.

According to an exclusive interview with IndiaToday.in, an insider told them,

“Sidharth and Kiara are on a break. They are trying to work things out. It is not a split that happened over fights. It is amicable. They are currently not together as Sidharth is in Turkey. On the other hand, Kiara Advani is busy with the promotion of her movie, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. They are just taking time off from each other. Don’t be surprised if you spot them together as they are very much into each other. They are trying to work things out.”

Sidharth and Kiara’s wedding

The duo got married on 7th February 2023 with a pretty succinct guest list at Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Around 80 rooms and 70 cars are said to have been booked for the stay and easy movement of the guests. Kiara and Sidharth took their pheras in the presence of only very close family and friends in attendance.

According to ANI reports, a wedding band from New Delhi arrived at the venue and the groom made his entry on the traditional white horse. Reportedly, the pre-wedding festivities included a mehendi, sangeet, and haldi.

Members of the wedding band and a man leading the horse out of the venue declared,

“Shaadi ho gayi (the wedding is over)”

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra’s wedding was attended by Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, Isha Ambani, Anand Piramal, Karan Johar, and Juhi Chawla with husband Jay Mehta. Shahid and Mira were pictured a Mumbai airport on Tuesday night after flying back from Jaisalmer.

Sharing the wedding pictures on social media the couple wrote,

“Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai” We seek your blessings and love on our journey ahead ❤️🙏”
