After having two successful seasons, Sony Entertainment Television has started issuing applications for a third season. Shark Tank India is the Indian franchise of the famous American show, Shark Tank. In this business reality show, the entrepreneurs put forward their pitches to a panel of judges known as “sharks” urging them to invest in their business. You will find the judges investing in many businesses but does this thing actually work like it is shown on television?

Shark Tank India schedule
The Twitter user further broke the Shark Tank India timeline into smaller parts and explained how everything chronologically takes place. He wanted to explain to perfection how the ‘delayed funding scam’ happens.

The user continued,
He further added that the start-ups which don’t respond too well are made to go around circles so as to further delay the payment of funding. They particularly call it the ‘Shark Tank Effect’. They wait it out to see if other investors are also interested in the business. Later on, they try to get out of the previous agreements of funding. Such start-ups are even denied investments by other investors as they barely want to put money into the same basket where the sharks have invested.

Allegedly, other investors often say,
“Sharks ne investment de di kya? Have Sharks invested in you? Woh de denge to aana hamare pass”
But the Sharks deliberately wait longer for the show to air and see how well the “Shark Tank Effect” worked on the start-ups, the Sharks gauge their website traffic and sales after the show is aired and also monitor if other investors are looking to make an offer,
