There was a ninth-wicket stand of 48 in the match between Bashir (13) and Joe Root (84) during the fifth and final India vs England Test in Dharamsala.
The game was over within three days, and a hilarious clip from Saturday, March 9, has gone viral on social media.

In a viral video, what Indian fielder Sarfaraz Khan is heard telling England batter, Shoaib Bashir is hilarious
In a stump-mic conversation, 26-year-old Sarfaraz Khan asked Bashir to hit out (and get out) so that they could enjoy the snow in Dharamsala. Sarfaraz was caught on stump mic saying,
“Maar jaldi, snow mein chalte hai upar, ghum ke aayenge chal (Hit
quickly, let’s go up to the snow, we’ll roam around.)”

As the partnership of Bashir (13) and Joe Root (84) delayed India’s victory, Sarfaraz decided to indulge in some fun mind games. He hilariously sledded Bashir and was caught on the stump mic.
The incident took place during the 38th over of England’s second innings, bowled by Kuldeep Yadav. Sarfaraz was fielding at the short leg and after the fourth ball of Kuldeep’s over, he asked the 20-year-old Englishman to finish the game.

After Sarfaraz sledded Bashir, the English cricketer hammered Kuldeep for a boundary on the last ball of the over. However, he got out after making 13 runs from 29 balls.
Sarfaraz scored 3 fifties in five innings of the three Tests against England in his debut series
Sarfaraz scored 62 and 68 runs in his first Test played at Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. He became the fourth Indian cricketer in history to score back-to-back fifties on his Test
debut. In the first innings of the fifth Test, Sarfaraz gathered a total of 56 runs from 60 balls.
Before this incident, Sarfaraz was heard sledging Jonny Bairstow as well on Day 3 in Dharamsala. The Mumbai batter chipped in after the England batter and Shubman Gill had exchanged some words over James Anderson’s retirement. Sarfaraz said,
Chup baithne bol isko. Thoda se run kya bana liye zyaada uchal
raha hai. (Ask him to keep quiet. He has scored a few runs but is flying
high).”
Bairstow – What did you say to Jimmy about getting tired and he got you out after that?
Gill – So what, it was after my 100, how many have you got here?
Sarfaraz – Thode se runs kya bana diya, jyada uchal raha hain (scored a few runs today and jumping too much). pic.twitter.com/fhEOQQNkOq
