The seventh season of filmmaker Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee With Karan is generating the proper level of excitement. Fans’ attention has been drawn to the most recent episode starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Akshay Kumar, and popular hashtags are all over social media.
Right from the start of the show, we can say that the two celebrities don’t have anything in common and didn’t seem like a good couch-sharing match. The first is a typical Bollywood movie star, while the second is one of the most recognized actresses of the present.

The two have never collaborated on a movie before, and they aren’t even intended to be co-stars in one. They don’t have the kind of close friendship required to produce interesting rumours and appear on the show.
But after seeing the third episode of Karan Johar’s talk show, I believe Samantha would have won regardless of who her partner was. Her charisma and confidence are her main strengths and it was reflected in the way she answers every Karan Johar’s questions. Interestingly, it leads to produce some of the most unabashed honest moments from Samantha.

So, let’s have a look at those moments:

1. When Karan Johar asked him about his decision to do the song Oo Antava for the Pushpa movie, just two months before its theatrical release
She answered,
“The third, f*** it, I’ll do it. I mean why not? I loved the song. It was a satire on the male gaze. I know I got a lot of criticism about pandering to the male gaze while making a satire on the male gaze. My logic was who else can do a satire a male gaze except for the nautch girl I was playing in the song, or an actor who has a wide experience or wide range of the male gaze? Only a nautch girl or me can satirise the male gaze.”
2. When Karan Johar asked her about “Nepotism in Hyderabad”
Her sensible answer wins everyone’s heart. She answered,
“I think it differs from apple to apple. Nepo kids or non-nepo kids, everyone comes with their own demons and their own demons to face. It is as simple, once you are in the game, even if your father is the coach, he is still standing on the sidelines. There is nothing he can possibly do for you to win the game. There is divine intervention.”
3. When Karan Johar referred to Naga Chaitanya as her “husband”
Without wasting the time, Samantha immediately corrected him by saying,
“Ex-husband”
4. When Karan Johar asked her if she and Naga Chaitanya are amicable
She answered,
“You mean if you put us both in a room, you’d have to hide sharp objects? Yes, as of now.”
However, she later added,
“But it maybe sometime in the future”
5. When Karan Johar asked about her experience of facing trolling
“I could not complain about it as I chose to reveal a lot of my life to the public. When the separation happened, I could not be too upset about it because they invested in my life and it was my responsibility to have the answers, which I didn’t have at that point. I came out of it ok.”
6. When Samantha jokes indirectly brags about fees impartiality between heroes and heroines
It happened when Akshay revealed that he received a salary on per day basis. Disrupting him in the middle, she said,
“Per day salary would probably be higher than my one film salary”
7. When Karan Johar asked her how is she doing now
With a grim on her face, she answered,
“It has been hard but it’s good now. It’s fine. I am stronger than I have ever been.”
8. When she makes fun of Karan Johar’s cinematography
Talking about how Karan Johar’s family films have made an impact on the Indian audience, she said,
“I have a bone to pick with you Karan. You are the reason for unhappy marriages. You have portrayed life to be K3G (Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham). In fact, the reality is KGF.”
9. When Samantha asked Karan to take a U-turn
It happened when Karan asked her about the way from which anyone can enter her heart, she cleverly replied,
“It’s closed. So, please take a U-turn.”
