Samantha separation with Naga Chaitanya

Samantha had broken up with Naga Chaitanya the previous year. She had commented, in response to the different replies she had received following her split,

“Your emotional investment into a personal crisis has overwhelmed me. Thank you all for showing deep empathy, and concern and for defending me against false rumors and stories that are being spread. They say I had affairs, never wanted children, that I’m an opportunist and now that I have had abortions. Divorce itself is an extremely painful process. Let me take time to heal. This attack on me personally has been relentless. But I promise you, I will never allow this or anything else they say, to break me.”

Samantha Ruth Prabhu asks Sadhguru

At a particular event in Hyderabad, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu encountered mystical teacher Sadhguru and questioned him regarding life’s injustices. She wondered if injustice in one’s existence could be attributed to one’s ‘previous retribution’ throughout their conversation. Sadhguru responded to her by saying,

Samantha expressed Sadhguru a concern that’s been on her thoughts throughout their conversation. This is what she questioned,

“How much of one’s life is a result of their past karma? Are the injustices and unfairness that one faces in one’s life a result of their past karma, and if so, do you accept these injustices and find solace in the fact that the karma is being cleared, even though it might seem detrimental to our lives in so many ways…?”

To which Sadhguru replied,

“Do you still expect the world to be fair to you?”

Samantha said with a laugh,

“That’s why I’m asking this question! Can I blame it on my past karma is what I’m asking.”

To which the mystic guru responded,

“I want the world to be fair to me is a schoolgirl question.”

Sadhguru simply asked Samantha if she still believes the world will treat her fairly. He went on to say,

“By now, you should know the world is not fair. It will not be fair.”

He made a point of saying how Samantha’s situation will always be unjust to her.
