The names Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai need no introduction, and neither does their infamous relationship. The duo used to date in the late-1990s and early-2000s before they had an ugly fallout. It is not unknown that Aishwarya had accused Salman of hitting her. An old video of that interview has resurfaced and doing rounds on social media. In that video, Bhaijaan is seen reacting shockingly to the accusations.
When Aishwarya Rai accused Salman Khan of physical abuse
In 2002, Aishwarya Rai poured her heart out during an interview with the Bombay Times when she was asked about her relationship with Salman Khan. Aishwarya and Salman started dating during the making of the 1998 film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam but were only seen together in Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam.

She told the interviewer,
“I stood by him enduring his alcoholic misbehavior in its worst phases, and in turn, I was at the receiving end of his abuse (verbal, physical, and emotional), infidelity, and indignity. That is why like any other self-respecting woman, I ended my relationship with him”

During an exclusive interview with NDTV, Salman Khan broke his silence on the shocking allegations. A clip of the above-mentioned interview has resurfaced on social media and it has gone viral gathering a lot of traction on Twitter.
A user who goes by the username @odshek on Twitter made a thread on the Andhra cine industry back in 2017 and attached the video of Salman’s interview too. When asked if he wanted to continue to talk about it or stop, he gave a sketchy reply.
He said,

“A journalist, who asked me this a long time ago and I just banged the table and he got startled if the table really broke”
He added,
“I said, ‘Now if I hit somebody, it’s obviously going to be a fight. I’m going to be angry. Forget whack, I’m going to give her my best shot. I don’t think she’ll survive it. So no, it’s not true and I don’t know for what reason that was said”
