Rhea Chakraborty Responds After Journalist Calls Her Brother As Boyfriend & Shouts ‘Nice Jodi’

The demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who tragically passed away on June 14 in his Mumbai Bandra residence, has unfolded a series of complexities. The Mumbai Police’s early inquiry concluded that the death was a suicide. However, many issues remained unanswered because no suicide note was found. The cause of death was identified as hanging-related asphyxia in the tentative post-mortem report.

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan’s wedding reception was held in Mumbai on Saturday night. Held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai, the magnificent occasion drew a star-studded guest list that included Jaya Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Rekha, Saira Banu, Dharmendra, Hema Malini, and Jaipur.

Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty also attended the event. While everything was going alright, one paparazzi made an irresponsible remark about them. As Rhea and Showik smiled for the cameras, a photographer stated, “Nice jodi.”

However, he was promptly corrected by fellow photographers

As one paparazzo clarified, “Arey bhai hai unka, kuch bhi bana raha hai.” This prompted Rhea to address the situation.

Expressing her displeasure with the comment, Rhea told the photographer,

“Aise he logo ke vajah se rumours shuru hote hai.”

Soon, she gracefully walked away with her brother.

For the uninitiated, in 2020, Showik Chakraborty came into the spotlight throughout the Sushant Singh Rajput death inquiry. Like her sister, he was also accused of obtaining and using narcotics. While Rhea was imprisoned for a month, Showik was detained for many months before being found not guilty.

After steering clear of the public eye after the case, Showik made a rare appearance alongside Rhea at Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s wedding reception. However, the above-mentioned incident proved that some people are still finding controversy in them.
