Bollywood actress and public figure Kangana Ranaut was newly elected as BJP MP from Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh. A recent incident that occurred at Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport in Chandigarh on June 6 proves that some people are not happy with the result. Ms. Ranaut claimed that she was slapped on the face and abused by a lady CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) constable at Chandigarh airport before she boarded a flight to Delhi.
In response to the recent incident renowned actress Raveena Tandon penned an emphatic message addressing the rising violence against women and children.

Why Kangana was hit at Chandigarh airport?
Summarizing in detail what had happened that day, Kangana Ranaut stated that the accused constable approached her from the side when she was waiting in the security check area. She alleged that the security personnel hit her and began hurling abuses at her, apparently without any provocation.
The alleged incident occurred around 3 pm at the security checkpoint before Ranaut’s flight. Some reports suggest that the conflict occurred after Ranaut did not pay attention to the constable’s instructions to put her phone on the tray during the routine security frisking.
When Kangana was asked why she was hit, she stated that the constable, Kulwinder Kaur was a supporter of the farmer’s protests.

Kangana said,
“She hit me in the face and started abusing me. I asked her why she did it, and she said she supports the farmer protests.”
A video doing the rounds of social media shows the angry constable speaking to people assumably after the incident. Kulwinder Kaur is heard saying,
“Kangana made a statement that farmers were protesting in Delhi because they were paid ₹100 or ₹200. At the time, my mother was one of the protesters”
Following Kangana’s FIR, the constable, Kulwinder Kaur has been suspended
As soon as Kangana reached Delhi headquarters she lodged an official complaint. An official in Chandigarh said,

“Constable Kaur was immediately detained after the incident. Kangana Ranaut proceeded to board her flight. Punjab police officials also reached the airport.”
Kangana issued an office statement on the incident
Ms. Ranaut stated,
“The incident that took place at Chandigarh airport today happened at a security check. As soon as I left after doing the security check, the woman in the second cabin, who is also a security guard of CISF waited for me to cross the bay. She came from the other side and hit me on my face and started abusing me. When I asked her why she did this, she said that she supports the farmers’ protest. I am safe, but my concern is that terrorism and violence is increasing in Punjab. How do we handle that? Thank you.”

Here is the strong message by Raveena
Raveena took to the social media platform, X (formerly known as Twitter) and Instagram and wrote,
“In a world where public scrutiny is relentless, it is essential to remember that women achievers are human too. Disparaging them solely for their fame is unfair and harmful. This increasing violence against women and children the world over needs to be addressed urgently. It’s time we stand united against violence and hooliganism.”

Raveena, did you file a formal police complaint ? Why not? A successful and well-known person like you can be an inspiration to many. No one FROM YOUR FRATERNITY came forward for you. This clearly proves that no one really cares. What if they had physically harmed you?

why not making this case a script to gain and earn equally?
This might be a good idea to woo both of us(believers/nonbelivers).
