Punjab Police reply man I like you message

Every state in India has a police agency that works hard every day to improve its social media presence. The official Police Twitter handles don’t only tweet out safety warnings, traffic updates, and announcements; they also listen to complaints, deal with grievances, and even collect tips from online users about crimes and other problems.

While many state police departments stay up with the newest social media trends and publish jokes and memes to raise more awareness of safety and security, more and more police departments are embracing the trend to keep up with the latest social media trends of having a presence on these platforms.

“Not sure what you were expecting on your unwarranted message to a woman, but they should not have beaten you up. They should have reported you to us and we would have served you right under right sections of law. Both these offences will be duly taken care of as per law!”
