This gave rise to arguments on social media platforms in Pakistan about whether the Indian Chandrayaan-3 moon landing should be broadcasted on Pakistani television.

The responses of some Pakistani citizens were hilarious and one of the reactions went viral on social media.

When a Pakistani YouTuber Sohaib Chaudhry asked a few citizens to comment on India’s successful moon mission, a Pakistani man stole the show with his humour

The Youtuber asked the Pakistani man to comment on India’s successful moon mission. The man gave a hilarious reply. He said that Pakistanis are already living on the moon. The Pakistani man remarked,

“Vo toh paise laga keg aye hain na, hum toh already chaand pe reh rahe hain (They spent money on going there, we are already living on the moon)”

When the YouTuber asked him to explain his remark, the witty man went on to criticize the lack of infrastructure in his country. The Pakistani man put on a smile and replied,

As the interviewer and the people around him seemed amused by his answer he went on further, he added,

“Does the moon have gas? No. Neither do we”

He concluded the conversation by saying just like the moon has no electricity, the people of Pakistan do not have it either. While saying this he showed the area behind him which had a power cut.
