It’s a scripted response .What are you doing for the last 10 years? No change in slab. When every expense has increased by 3-4 times since 2014, why not slabs increased by 3-4 times?

Mam with due respect, please don’t say you hear people’s voices. Your people definition doesn’t include middle class. Rather far from it. This govt get votes because it is helping the poor class to elevate , which a hardworking middle class also understands and sacrifices itself.

Middle class is squeezed to the maximum extent. Huge tax burden of direct & indirect taxes and never ending compliance burden. With inflation, middle class is unable to save. Small firms are taxed at the maximum tax rate (more than corporate tax rate) but no one listens & cares.

To sum it up, India’s middle class, forming a small but crucial tax-paying population, shoulders the dual burden of income tax and GST. To address the concerns of India’s middle class, a balanced approach is essential.
