Kartik Aaryan Reacts To Sara Ali Khan Discussing Their Relationship On Koffee With Karan

In Bollywood, actors dating their co-actors is not uncommon. Dating rumors among celebs is a hot topic that fans go crazy about. But when you are a public figure, always facing the camera it becomes difficult to keep things private. Though few actors sometimes struggle to keep their relationships private, somehow it does reach the public eye. One of the actors from the Bollywood industry Kartik Aaryan recently revealed that personal relationships should not be discussed publicly.

In the latest episode of Koffee with Karan Season 8 featuring Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday, Sara spoke about her relationship and break-up with Kartik Aaryan. Apparently, Ananya Panday also reportedly dated Kartik in the past.

Kartik and Sara reportedly dated each other during the shoot of their film Love Aaj Kal but broke up later. The two actors seem to be cordial with each other. These days they are often witnessed attending parties together. Karan Johar on Koffee with Karan also confirmed that Ananya and Kartik also dated for a short while and their break-up.

On the chat show, Karan Johar had asked Sara and Ananya directly about Kartik Aaryan. They were asked whether it is easy to be friendly with each other considering they once dated the same guy.

Sara decided to answer the question but she talked about dating and breakups in general. She stated,

“I don’t want to say that ya, it’s all easy because then it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn’t always easy. When you are involved with anybody, whether it’s friends, professionally, romantically, especially if I am, I get involved and invested. It is not like, ‘Oh yeah, it doesn’t really matter, whatever it’s today, whatever it’s tomorrow’. It’s not like that. It does affect you. But ultimately you have to rise beyond that.”

Sara added,

“Ultimately you have to rise beyond that. And something I realised, there are actually no permanent predicaments in this business. There is no point in making permanent best friendships. pinky promises. I won’t talk to the person. All these nevers don’t really work. In my personal experience, there is no point making permanent best friendships, pinky promises, saying I’ll never talk to you again. All these nevers and always nahi hota (doesn’t happen).”

In a recent interview, Kartik finally reacted to Sara and Ananya discussing their relationship on Koffee with Karan

He expressed that he has never talked about his relationships in public and he believes that others should respect that, too.

In a recent interview with Film Companion, Kartik stated that he only wishes to talk about his work and not his personal life.

When the actor was questioned about how he feels about being a regular topic of discussion on Koffee with Karan, Kartik replied,

“Ek cheez mujhe lagti hai – relationship agar do logo ki hai toh dusre insaan ko bhi woh baatein nahi karni chahiye. Hum sab ko apni relationship ki respect karni chahiye (One thing I believe is that if a relationship is between two people, the other person should not talk about it. We should all respect our relationships).”

The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor also shared that he expects the same from his partner. He said,

“I expect the same from my (partner). It’s not good for someone to speak about the relationship. If things don’t work out… par jab aap saath hote ho kisike toh you don’t imagine it to be like that. You don’t imagine ki yeh khatam ho jayega. You should respect that time, that moment. You should respect yourself also. Aap jab woh baat karte ho toh aisa nahin hai ke samne wala ek hee insaan ke baare mein woh soch raha hota hai, woh dono ke baare mein woh soch raha hota hai (When you are with someone, you don’t imagine things not working out. When you talk about it, it’s not like the other person is only thinking about one person, they are thinking about both)”

On the work front, Kartik is currently working on Kabir Khan’s film Chandu Champion. He will also soon start working on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

We agree with Kartik on this, it is better to keep some things away from the public eye. When it comes to personal relationships, it is best kept secret to avoid unnecessary drama and rumors.
