Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan is married to Safa Baif, a Saudi Arabia-based model, in 2016. The duo have a son Imran Pathan, and are quite active on social media. Pathan, from time to time, keeps posting pictures with his wife and son. Recently, Irfan’s wife Safa Baig had posted a picture from her son Instagram, where her face was blurred, while Pathan’s and son’s face was not.
Irfan re-shared the photo from his Instagram account in which the face of his wife was blurred. It led to a criticism that Irfan isn’t letting her reveal her face.

For this, Pathan was criticised by many for not letting her wife reveal her face. Many people started to comment on his Instagram post slamming the former Indian pacer.
Irfan Pathan is known to regularly hit out at the trolls and had another strong response to criticism to his recent family photo. The former Indian cricketer stated that the family was receiving a ‘lot of hate’ over his wife Safa blurring her face in the pic. He clarified that it was his wife decision.
Irfan made a statement from his Twitter account, while sharing the same picture again, he tweeted,

Meanwhile, Pathan had contracted the Coronavirus during the Road Safety World Series, and recovered recently. To help India fight Covid, Pathan, along with his brother Yusuf is helping the needy with food, oxygen cylinders, ventilators, oxygen concentrators. All the help is being provided through their Pathan foundation.
