Vande Bharat Poor Quality Food

I often prefer traveling by Indian trains because they allow me to see things up close in a way that is difficult on an airline. Trains are also economical, which is another reason why regular travelers like me like them for long-distance trips.

However, as Indian Railways constantly provides mediocre services, they completely wreck my mood every now and again. The Indian Railways system is nevertheless afflicted by a number of issues that demand immediate attention, despite significant qualitative and quantitative advancements over the past several years.

And this doesn’t only happen in regular trains; it is also prevalent in first-class trains like the Vande Bharat Express, which is often called the future of Indian railways. Recently, a video depicting the poor food quality of the train’s Vande Bharat Train, which runs between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam, is making the rounds online nearly a month after it was introduced.

The tweet received an instant response from the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)

Replying to his tweet, IRCTC said,

“Sir, concerned official has been informed for corrective measures.”

His tweet went viral, and many other people revealed their own similar kinds of experiences with Indian railways. While many people supported him, others disputed his claims.

This happened more than a week after an image of trash lying about on the floor of a Vande Bharat Express train carriage went viral.

Awanish Sharan, an official with the Indian Administrative Services (IAS), posted the image on Twitter with the title “We, The People.” In the image, a worker is seen sweeping up litter like paper, plastic bags, and empty water bottles that had been left on the train’s floor.

On Twitter, the image sparked a number of responses. Internet users criticized the trash on board the express train and asked everyone to do their part to keep the nation clean. In order to avoid causing their customers any difficulty, this led the railway officials to change their cleaning procedures.
