For a customer to be satisfied with you, you need to ensure that you are providing prompt and satisfactory service. However, lately, the Indian Railways is failing to do so. In the latest happening, a passenger traveling in Vande Bharat Express shared some shocking images that are to leave you in splits.
Basically, the passenger took to his Twitter and shared his drastic experience with Vande Bharat Where he was served an inappropriate meal. A meal that had a cockroach in it. Yes, you are reading absolutely right.
The passenger with the Twitter username Subodh Pahalajan took to social media in order to share his ordeal. While sharing the whole matter he even shared the images as proof. In the images, one can clearly witness how a chapati has a small cockroach in it. In his post, the Twitterati tagged the IRCTC official handle and wrote as we quote,

Responding to this, IRCTC said, “Sir our sincere apology for the unpleasant experience…”
The passenger was apparently traveling on Rani Kamalapati (Habibganj)-Hazrat Nizamuddin route. As he discovered the cockroach in his chapati he shared this experience on Twitter. The moment IRCTC came across the post, they apologized. Writing how the matter has been viewed seriously the IRCTC responded by saying that a hefty penalty has been imposed on the service provider. In absolute words, they replied by saying as we quote,
“Sir, our sincere apology for the unpleasant experience. Matter has been viewed seriously . Concerned service provider has been strictly warned to take due precautions during food preparation . Also, a hefty penalty has been imposed on the service provider and monitoring has also been further strengthened at the source kitchen.”

Netizens are completely shocked by the incident
Even though IRCTC apologized and most certainly provided the customer with a fresh meal this is not how Railways are supposed to provide bad meals. Netizens who came across the post definitely were left with utter shock and anger.
