The 16th installment of IPL is here and it is safe to say that the fans cannot keep calm. The Indian Premier League is a men’s Twenty20 cricket league held annually in India. Furthermore, ten city-based franchises take part in it. While it is of course the fans who are a great source of enthusiasm so are the cheerleaders, if not more.

It goes without saying that you need to have prior dancing, modeling, and performing in front of a large audience experience. Furthermore, it needs does not just end there. During the time of the audition, the candidates are needed to be very professional. Plenty of candidates come in to give interviews but in order to get selected you have to stand out among all the candidates. You have to show the judges that you are the best.

This job may seem like an easy one however it is not. The people with great zeal and interest in the field are the ones who are best suited for the job. Another noteworthy thing is that most of the cheerleaders are from different nations. However, this does not mean that Indians are not welcome. They are more than welcome.

Cheerleaders of IPL earn a decent amount and get to live luxuriously

Due to COVID rules, the cheerleaders missed the opportunity to be a part of last year’s IPL. However, this year they are back with a bang. According to media reports and sources IPL cheerleaders earn about Rs. 14,000 and Rs. 17,000 every match.

Teams like CSK, Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Delhi Capitals reportedly pay their cheerleaders more than Rs 12,000 each game.

Furthermore, teams like the Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore pay about Rs. 20,000 to each of their cheerleaders. However, it is the cheerleaders of Kolkata Knight Riders who earn the highest amount. And KKR pays around Rs. 24,000 per match to their cheerleaders.

Another noteworthy thing is that apart from their usual pay they many times get a hike when their teams make a momentous win.  They also receive other privileges, such as luxurious accommodations, and meals per diem among others.
