Om Raut’s Adipurush, a multi-starrer and multilingual retelling of the epic Ramayana, has come under the scanner of criticism because of its VFX, dialogue, and representation of a few characters from the mythological epic.

Though, Adipurush, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, got a blockbuster opening at the box-office, but, it failed to win the hearts of the fans. In the movie, Prabhas plays the character of Lord Rama, Kriti Sanon plays Goddess Sita, Saif Ali Khan plays Ravana and Sunny Singh plays Laxman.

“Namashkar, For a long time I have been thinking about making this video but then I thought I shouldn’t talk about it. I would not like to comment on the film Adipurush or give any tips as I have not even watched the film yet. However, I will talk about the future and every now and then in the years, there is a new Ramayan made either in films or serials. For us Indians, Ramayan is our ‘Dharohar’ and that’s why I feel that we should stop making Ramayan anymore. Every time when it’s remade, there is some controversy over it. Instead of that, we can teach Ramayan in schools and institutions because it might give a new direction and mindful learning for the new generation. That is all I would like to say as I am not trying to point out at anyone.”
