Why has Suresh Nakhua filed a defamation case against Dhruv Rathee?
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) politician Suresh Karamshi Nakhua filed a defamation lawsuit. In it, the Delhi court summoned YouTuber Dhruv Rathee. The BJP’s Mumbai unit spokesperson, Nakhua, said that Rathee had disparaged him in a YouTube video titled “My Final Reply to Godi YouTubers.”
Rathee supposedly branded Nakhua a “violent and abusive troll” without a “rhyme or reason” in the aforementioned video, which was published on July 7. The BJP leader took exception to that. There have been reports that he was widely criticized and mocked as a result of Rathee’s accusations.

In addition, Nakhua charged that Rathee was deliberately launching an offensive to damage his character and integrity via the video. According to him, there might be serious personal and professional repercussions from the false accusations.
