Traveling by airplane is always a pleasant journey. However, long waiting times in airports always ruin everyone’s mood.
Airport wait times have always been an issue, especially during busy times of the year and at congested airports. Long wait periods can result in a number of problems, such as missed flights, elevated stress levels, decreased productivity, and security concerns.

It is problematic for everyone, whether a commuter is an average person or a renowned businessman. Something recently happened with BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover.
Ashneer Grover recently took to Twitter to express his disappointment with the lengthy wait times at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport
According to Grover, it took him nearly half an hour just to enter the airport, a delay that many travelers have come to expect given the airport’s high volume of passengers and flights.
In a series of tweets, Grover vented his frustrations and even offered some suggestions to the airport authorities on how to streamline the check-in process and reduce wait times. Taking to Twitter, he wrote,
Delhi airport @DelhiAirport T3 needs an overhaul ! 30 minutes to just enter airport is insane. Suggestions 1) Separate gates for international / business 2) 2 people at gate to check ticket / id (why 3 people check boarding pass between boarding gate and aircraft ? Move them !)

Delhi Airport thanked Ashneer Grover for giving his suggestions
Soon, his tweet went viral, with many people reacting to it. Later, the official Twitter account of Delhi airport also reacted to it and thanked Grover for spending his time giving them valuable feedback.
Have a look at Delhi Airport’s reply:

This is not the first time Delhi Airport has drawn criticism for poor administration
A number of travelers complained about congestion at Terminal 3 just a year ago, and several even missed their flights as a result of lengthy lines at various pre-boarding locations.
When the situation at IGI deteriorated to such an extreme, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia visited the airport and reviewed all of the crowded areas. The ministry subsequently requested the airlines send more staff members to the airports.
Also, the ministry instructed airlines to continuously post updates on their social media accounts on flight delays and waiting times, as well as additional workers at check-in counters. Also, for hassle-free check-ins, the Center urged travelers to download the DigiYatra app.
Despite efforts by the airport to address this issue, it remains a significant challenge for travelers, and many continue to arrive at the airport well in advance of their flights to avoid missing them due to long wait times.
