Many individuals on the internet have chosen to focus on Deepika’s admission that she went on dates with other men even after her initial encounter with Ranveer Singh, thereby igniting a wave of controversy.

The actress was caught confessing as we quote,

“I wanted to be single for a while because I had come from a couple of difficult relationships. I was going through a phase where I said ‘I just don’t want to be attached, don’t want to be committed’. And I had fun! And then he comes along, so I didn’t commit, until he proposed to me. There was no commitment as such. Even if we were technically allowed to see other people, we would just keep coming back to each other.”

Popular Indian comedian and actor Vir Das recently took to X (formerly known as Twitter) in order to show solidarity with Deepika Padukone. He subtly attacked those who trolled Deepika Padukone for being human. He wrote as we quote,
