The actress recently reacted to the current statement of L&T Chairman SN Subrahmanyan, demanding employees of the infrastructure MNC to work even on Sundays. She addressed the company’s senior executive on her Instagram story conveying her opinion.
For the unversed, during an interaction earlier, SN Subrahmanyan revealed that he would have been more satisfied if he could make his employees work on Sundays. The video clip shared on Reddit went viral in no time.

SN Subrahmanyan said,
“I regret I am not able to make you work on Sundays. If I can make you work on Sundays, I will be more happy, because I work on Sundays. What do you do sitting at home? How long can you stare at your wife? How long can the wives stare at their husbands? Come on, get to the office and start working.”‘

L&T clarification statement
SN Subrahmanyan’s comment led to a raging debate on the Internet over work-life balance and mental wellbeing. Following this, the infrastructure MNC came up with an explanation.
