Deepika Padukone has become one of India’s most popular celebrities, promoting other global brands such as L’Oreal Paris, Maybelline, Tissot and Coca-Cola. Recently she was also the recipient of a Crystal Award at the World Economic Forum at Davos for her work supporting mental health.

The campaign this year is themed on pulp horror, as depicted on film and in books. The look book features of the campaign includes 25 poster girls and boys including Deepika, who strike poses as characters in fiction bestseller covers. Ghesquiere, artistic director of Louis Vuitton Women’s collection, posted the look book on Instagram.

The 34-year old actress is a true global icon who is taking India to greater platforms with her incredible talent and seems like she is ready to add another feather to her cap. The Chappak actress was announced the face of the iconic brand Louis Vuitton’s Pre-Fall 2020 campaign along with many other global icons. The diva charted history by becoming the first Bollywood actor to star in the brand’s campaign.

The actor shared the first look of the collection, which seems to be dark and Gothic, she captioned it,

“I am beyond thrilled to be joining the Louis Vuitton family! To be a part of Nicholas Ghesquiere’s vision for the world’s most iconic brand is not only exciting but also very humbling!”

The poster titled ‘Don’t turn Turn Around’ looks scary as Deepika sits on a bench in a black dress paired with a grey overcoat and quirky green boots while a scary face with red eyes is looking over her from the glass window.

The actress’s husband, actor Ranveer Singh, was among the first to post applause. “Next level !!!” he wrote.
