The fans could only presume and speculate but never reached an answer. Years after Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, Ankita Lokhande finally broke her silence about their break-up story on Big Boss 17 and it is breaking the hearts of many netizens.

Recently, in Big Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande was seen having a heartfelt chat about her journey in the industry with the comedian Munawar Faruqui. They were chatting about how she got her first lead role in the TV series Pavitra Rishta back in 2009 for which she earned Rs 2000 per episode and looking back, how it meant a great deal to her back then. When the comedian probed her about SSR and why they split, Ankita Lokhande came forward with an answer that fans were always eager to know.
She said that there wasn’t any big reason behind their split and added,
“Ek raat mein cheezein palat gayi meri life mein. Woh ekdum ek raat mein gayab ho gaya”
Ankita shared that she believes that some higher-ups might have tried to get him to break up with her. She said,
Jab aap upar chad rahe hote ho na career mein, aapko 10 log aur kaan bharte hain. Jo bhi ho raha hoga, mujhe nahi pata us time. Theek hai, maine kabhi roka bhi nahi
She revealed that after being together for 6 years, everything changed overnight and she couldn’t see the love in his eyes anymore, though there were no conflicts or differences between them before they broke up. Ankita added that even when she and her husband fight, she can still see the love in his eyes.

Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput first met each other on the sets of Zee TV’s hit daily soap Pavitra Rishta and started dating each other that year.
After SSR’s death, Rangoli Chandel revealed in an Instagram post that Sushant’s PR team played a heavy role in Ankita and Sushant’s breakup
Back in 2020, after SSR’s death, Rangoli Chandel who is the manager and sister of Kangana Ranaut revealed that Sushant Singh Rajput’s PR was responsible for the breakup.
