The process of obtaining a loan from a financial institution has never been easier, but so has the process of collecting a debt.

While borrowing money from a financial institution is a contractual arrangement, it also imposes certain obligations on both parties in terms of the law. The lender is obliged to uphold the loan conditions, and the borrower is expected to pay back the debt in a timely manner.

But in recent times, almost everyone has somehow suffered from a financial crunch because of the degrading economy during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of them are still unable to pay back the loans that they borrowed from someone.

That’s why a lot of people have already killed themselves because they are unable to pay their loans, and who knows that many people might be thinking about doing the same because many debt recovery companies have continuously harassed them verbally or physically.

While it is also worth highlighting that not all companies work like that and not all borrowers are the same, still, extracting money from borrowers by using violence in any form needs to stop as it is now getting out of hand.
